First, Garner State Park is BEAUTIFUL. It is also FREAKIN' HUGE. I shall henceforth refer to it as the Disney World of State Parks, because...WOW, giant. So...my keyboard at home has died and thus I'm only able to update a) at work b) on the netbook, when I can connect to the apartment's wifi. So...if I don't reply to comments for a bit, this is why. I'm going to Best Buy tomorrow for a new keyboard & The Sims 3 (yayz!), so this shouldn't last long ;)

Took meggiekw and illama out to see Star Trek Saturday night.

They are not Trek fans.  They're not even Sci Fi fans (though after many years of friendship with me they can now name several Stargate SG-1 characters).  I made Meg read a Star Trek novel once (back in high school--Imzadi--and she's seen maybe one episode of TNG--by force on a Girl Scout trip).  ( Read more... )

I have a crush on Dr. McCoy.  Again.

And Chekov is adorable.

And Quinto is an awesome Spock.

I already want to watch it again!!!!

...and the dedication at the end made me tear up :(
